Knob and Tube Replacement

Knob and tube wiring, if left undisturbed, is considered safe for residential wiring needs. Concerns may arise in regards to wire corrosion, or decaying insulation, that lead many home owners to replace their existing system with a more modern, copper-wired system. Current knob and tube systems are unable to support the power required for modern devices and appliances.

To replace your current knob and tube system, all existing connections will be disconnected from both the power source, and outputs.  Before disconnection, new wiring will be run alongside the existing systems so power can be restored at the end of the work day.

We strive to cause minimal impact on your living space. To achieve this, all wiring will be accessed from behind baseboards, with the baseboard being replaced after work completion. Visible holes will only be made if absolutely necessary, and will be patched by our electrician; preserving the integrity of your home.

We clean up and restore power at the end of each work day, even if the work is not yet completed. We also provide an Electricians Report to insurance companies on your behalf.
